History
The building was erected during the mid-19th century or thereabouts.
Description
The cottage is situated in the eastern part of the village. It was designed on a rectangular floor plan. It is a wooden log building with dovetail corner joints featuring projecting log ends, its utility section being partially a masonry structure. It is covered with a thatched gable roof. The residential section follows a two-bay layout, with a vestibule leading across the structure from one side of the building to the other; the utility section of the house, on the other hand, follows a single-bay layout. The original interior layout has only been changed to a slight extent over the years. Most of the window joinery also dates back to the period when the house was built.
