House no. 71 - Zabytek.pl
woj. opolskie, pow. nyski, gm. Kamiennik-gmina wiejska
The building in homestead no. 71 probably goes back to the second half of the 18th century. It has been renovated many times but - contrary to the trends - without unjustified interference in the historic structure and mainly with the use of traditional materials.
The homestead is located in the east part of the village featuring a rectangular layout. The house is set with its gable to the road; there is a barn along its longer side. The ground floor of the residential building in made of brick; the frame structure above features the brick filling and is covered with a gable roof. The partition walls in the attic are built in the half-timbered technology. The outer walls are divided by the elements of the wooden structure and determine the arrangement of the windows. The two-bay rooms with the hall inside are covered with beamed ceilings; the remaining elements of the interior are largely original or originate in the pre-war period.
Access is limited. The house is a private property.
