On the northern edge of the village, on the left side of the road from Białośliwia to Wysoka, in the field between drainage canals, one of which is called Okaliniec

Description of the site

A ring fort with an inner yard Dimensions: at the base 57 x 57 m, inner yard 24 x 27 m, the height of the rampart at the outer base 2.5-3.5 m. Called the Swedish rampart

History of the site

Known from the 1880s. Entered in the register of historic monuments in 1967.

Progress and findings of archaeological research

Research carried out in the 1880s and 1890s. At that time, fragments of vessels and a bone awl were discovered. Inspections carried out in 1937, 1950, 1964. In 1965 research carried out by Lech Krzyżaniak and Michał Kobusiewicz. Surface surveys under the AZP (Archaeological Picture of Poland) project in 1994.

Visitor access. The site is open to the public, visible from the road as a clump of trees among the fields
