Burial mound of unknown chronology At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, a wooden, painted figure of the Virgin Mary with two children was placed on it.
Description of the structure
Location of the historic structure. 750 m east of Lubonia, 100 m north of the Lubonia-Oporówko road
Description of the site. Oval mound with a diameter of up to 5 m and a height of about 1.5 m, covered with bushes
History of the site. The history of the mound is unknown. There is an opinion among the local population that the mound was built at the burial site of those who died of the plague. Entered in the register of historic monuments in 1994.
Progress and findings of archaeological research. Surface surveys under the AZP (Archaeological Picture of Poland) project in 1983.
Visitor access. The site is accessible to visitors, visible from the road.
