Location of the historic structure. Located north of the Ostrolesie Forestry, on a small rise, on the border of fields and a deciduous forest.

Description of the site. Originally a ring fort, with the external diameter of the rampart of 72-85 m, and of the inner yard of 30 m The preserved height of the rampart is 6 m. The mound is surrounded by a dry moat up to 10 m wide and 1.5 m deep. On the north side there is a causeway, with an entrance to the inner yard.

History of the site. The site was already known in the mid-19th century. Entered in the register of historic monuments in 1969.

Progress and findings of archaeological research. Already known in the mid- 19th century. Described by Jędrzej Moraczewski (Tygodnik Literacki, 1841, p. 418). Also mentioned in the work of W. Schwartz, from 1880, A. Lissauer from 1887. In 1969 E. Khil-Byczko conducted survey research. Fragments of vessels, including grain roasting vessels, mugging material and animal bones were discovered then. In 1983 verification excavations were conducted by Z. Kurnatowska and A. Łosińska; in 1987 research as part of the AZP (Archaeological Picture of Poland) project. In 1999 and 2000 excavations were conducted by R. Pietrzak. The contour plan of the hillfort was made by T. Kasprowicz. Based on stratigraphic analysis, 17 layers were distinguished, most of which are associated with the pouring of the rampart. During the research, over 4,000 fragments of vessels were discovered, most of which were turned on the top and only some were completely hand-made. The collection of vessels includes forms related to the Tornow-Klenica and Menkendorf types.
