History

A ring fort from the 7th-9th century, on which a manor house from the early modern period was erected on a mound.

Description of the structure

Location of the historic structure. The hillfort known as the Bulwark is located about 1 km north of Młynkowo, 100 meters from Mogilnica, by the road from Młynkowo to Wilczyna, on a moraine hill. In literature it is listed as Wilczyna I.

Description of the site. Originally a ring fort, in the early modern period a mound manor house was erected there.

History of the site. The hillfort was entered in the register of historic monuments in 1969.

Progress and findings of archaeological research. Surface research was carried out in 2004.

Visitor access. Access is difficult. Private area, fenced.
