History
Originally a ring fort, now partly destroyed. Village mentioned in 1387.
Description of the structure
Location of the structure. The hillfort called Wojenna Góra, Grodziszczko is located on a hill, on the eastern side of the road from Brzoza to Grzebienisko, 700 m northwest of the village.
Description of the site. Originally a ring fort with a diameter of 30x35 m; the preserved area of the site - 0.7844 ha, probable original area - 1.1236 ha.
History of the site. Known at least since the beginning of the 20th century. Entered in the register of historic monuments in 1971; destroyed by an adjacent gravel mine.
Progress and findings of archaeological research. Autopsy by multiple archaeologists at different times. In 1986 surface research within the AZP (Archaeological Picture of Poland) project, in 2012 verification and archaeological survey by Marcin Sabaciński and Jakub Wrzosek.
Visitor access. The site is open to visitors.
