History of the structure

The turn of the 20th century marked the planting of an old route linking Sulechów with Skąpe (through Kije and Pałck) and further to Krosno Odrzańskie with trees. At that time, the area was of a typically agricultural nature, intersected by small rivers and streams, with bushes and mires stretching in their valleys.

Site description

The alley begins in Sulechów in Łochowska Street (at the railway station) and runs north-westwards along the provincial road no. 277 to the first buildings of the Skąpe village. The road is 16 km long. It goes past two villages: Kije and Pałck - the line of trees is partially interrupted there. The alley consists of 1460 trees of the following species: European lime, white chestnut, sycamore maple, common maple and single specimens of pedunculate oak, ash, warty birch and Canadian poplar.

Visitor access. Heritage site accessible to the general public.
