History

The windmill, first mentioned in written sources in 1847, was erected during the first half of the 19th century. The mill has undergone a full-scale restoration in 2011, involving the partial reconstruction of its structure.

Description

The windmill is located on a hill, alongside the main village road. It is a wooden post-and-beam structure covered with weatherboards, its roof clad with wood shingles. It is a post mill with four sails. Inside, the windmill features some remaining parts of the original transmission mechanism and the equipment used for milling grain. The original millstones are displayed outside, in front of the windmill.
