Description
The layout of the parish church with the cemetery borders directly on the manor complex; it is located in the central part of the village, on the western side of the village road. It is located in the central part of the village, on the western side of the village road. The church is east-oriented, made of brick, single-nave with a quadrilateral tower from the western side and a separate polygonal presbytery, buttressed. The church interior is covered with ceilings. The ceilings are painted - above the chancel there is a scene of the Baptism in the Jordan surrounded by emblems, while in the nave there is the scene of Pentecost. In the nave from the north and west side two storeys of galleries with scenes from the Old and New Testament. In the interior of the church a uniform early Baroque decoration dating back to approx. 1700.
The most important elements of the interior fixtures and fittings are:
Main altar, pulpit, 1703, patron’s pew with paintings on the balustrade, tombstone of Countess Eleonora Erdmuth v. Niebelschutz.
In the church cemetery there is a burial chapel of Eggers family, probably erected around 1860-1870.
