Description
The village of Chwałków is located on the north-western foothills of the Ślęża mountain, 3 kilometres south of the Wrocław-Świdnica national road No. 35. The palace along with the surrounding park is located in the heart of the village. The monument protection regime applicable to the park also covers an ensemble of manor farm buildings located on the northern side of the palace, some of them being in a state of ruin.
The palace was erected in the 2nd half of the 19th century, replacing an earlier manor house which was located on the same site. It was erected on a rectangular floor plan. The northern façade features a shallow avant-corps crowned with a triangular pediment as well as a terraced, colonnaded portico with 3 columns. The palace is a two-storey building with a half-hip roof with jerkin heads. The facades are smooth and relatively simple in design.
The palace is surrounded by a park.
Private property. The building may be seen from the outside.
