History
The church in Chróstnik (until 1945 - Brauchitschdorf) as ecclesia in Bruchaczdorf was mentioned in Galhard de Ceceribus’ tithe registry in 1335. In 1524, it was taken over by the Evangelicals. The church down was burned in 1711 and rebuilt in 1715 using parts of the earlier building. The temple was burned again in 1849. The current appearance is the result of the 1849-1853 reconstruction. It was destroyed in 1945. The church was renovated in 1961-1962, 1984 and in 1997.
