Surrounded by a moat originally filled with water. It is an example of the modern headquarters of the Lord.

History

A manor house in Bielany Wrocławskie (German Bettlern) was probably erected at the end of the 16th century as a mansion surrounded by a moat. The basement rooms, adjacent to the building body from the north, covered with barrel vaults with lunettes, may indicate that the mansion was erected - or was planned - as an facility on a horseshoe plan with two symmetrically placed wings. In 1663 the manor house was in a very bad condition, ransacked and deprived of equipment. In later centuries, it was repeatedly rebuilt and renovated, even in modern times. 

Description

Situated in the northern part of the manor house/farm complex, it is surrounded by the remains of a moat. To the manor house, from the south on the main entrance axis, there is currently a path established on the embankment through the moat. The manor house’s body was built on a rectangular plan, it follows a two-bay layout, with a central vestibule. Two-storey, with a basement, covered with a high ceramic hipped roof. Erected based on a transom design, founded on a high stone foundation, in the eastern part of the manor house the lower storey is bricked up. The façade (southern elevation) is nine-axis with a rectangular door opening and rectangular window openings. Side façades are biaxial. From the north the basement rooms of the wings have been preserved, above them there are modern extensions.

Private property. Limited access to the historical monument. It is not permitted to visit the interiors.
