Description of the site. A mound with a diameter of 50 m at the base and about 2 m high, surrounded on three sides by a moat up to 20 m wide. In the central part of the mound there is a fragment of a cellared building
History of the site. Discovered in 1989 by G. Teske and J. Tomala, in 1994 entered in the register of historic monuments
Progress and findings of archaeological research. In 1990 A. Bartczak conducted survey research, on the basis of which he distinguished four phases of use of the mound: I - 14th century, II - late 15th-early 16th century, III - 17th-18th century, IV - 19th century. In the first phase there was probably a wooden house with a basement on a mound surrounded by a palisade. After it had burned down, in the second phase the mound was raised, surrounded with a palisade, and a new wooden house was built. In the third phase the mound was strengthened with stone paving. The manor house from this period is mentioned during the inspection in 1731. The ruins of a 19th century building are associated with the final period.
