History

The palace was constructed in the years 1910-1912 at the initiative of Wiktor von Detmering. After World War II, a State Agricultural Holding (PGR) was established on the site. In 1991, the estate was taken over by the Agricultural Property Agency, which sold it to private individuals in 2007. One year later, the site underwent comprehensive renovation and was adapted for hotel and restaurant purposes.

Description

The complex is located in the north-western part of the village. The palace was designed in the modernist style with Neoclassical elements. The main body was built on a rectangular floor plan with an avant-corps from the park crowned with a semi-circular pediment. The main entrance leads through a roofed porch with double columns. In the eastern corner, there is a hexagonal tower with pinnacles. The garden front façade features two terraces and a balcony. The original reinforced concrete structure of the building has been preserved. The manor farm buildings are located to the south of the palace.

The landscape park from the early 20th century, spanning an area of 1.65 ha, is situated on an escarpment descending towards a pond. The reservoir is situated in the north-eastern part of the complex and features a modern island with a gazebo and bridges. A large number of old trees have been preserved. Tree species found in the park include the small-leaved lime, the horse chestnut, the field elm, the common yew, oaks and firs.

The building is not available to visitors (it houses a hotel and a restaurant).
